Maxyne is a founding director of the Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation. She is responsible for the Foundation’s output of films,from the idea stage to completion, festival strategy and distribution. For the Foundation, Maxyne has overseen such award-winning films as Afghan Star, Here’s Johnny, Sounds Like Teen Spirit, Erasing David and Moving to Mars.
She was also the Film Programmer for the BRITDOC Film Festival which screened 20 of the best feature documentaries from the preceding 12 months. Previously Maxyne was Assistant Editor, Documentaries at Channel 4, commissioning the 3 Minute Wonders and co-curating the Outside Zone.
