The nominations for the 2012 Cinema Eye Honors were announced last night in London, at an event hosted by Sheffield Doc/Fest, and we’re excited that Foundation-funded films and Good Pitch Alumni are very well represented. You can see the full nomination listing here
Both Hell & Back Again and Dragonslayer are up for 4 awards, as well as Good Pitch alum, Steve James’ The Interrupters, who is nominated for Cinema Eye’s top award, Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Feature Filmmaking.
Hell & Back Again is nominated for: Outstanding Achievement in Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Production, Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography, Outstanding Achievement in a Debut Feature Film
Dragonslayer is nominated for: Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography, Outstanding Achievement in Editing, Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Score, Outstanding Achievement in a Debut Feature Film
Good Pitch alumni The Interrupters and Give Up Tomorrow are included in the 10-strong lineup vying for the Audience Choice Prize.

Winners of the 5th Annual Cinema Eye Honors will be announced on January 11, 2012 at New York City’s Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens.
