What Do They Fund?

The Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund provides finishing funds to feature-length doc which highlight issues of social importance from around the world. Funded films are driven by thoughtful and in-depth storytelling, bolstered by a compelling visual approach.

The 2011 grantees were:

An American Promise (Director, Michele Stephenson & Joe Brewster)
Caught in the Net (Directors, Shosh Shlam & Hilla Medalia)
Democrats (Director, Camilla Nielsson, Producer, Henrik Veileborg)
The Great Invisible (Producer/Director Margaret Brown, Producer, Jason Orans)
Untitled Global Health Documentary (Director, Kief Davidson)
Charge (Director, Mike Plunkett)

The TFI New Media Fund provides funding and support to non-fiction, social issue media projects which go beyond traditional screens—integrating film with content across media platforms, from video games and mobile apps to social networks and interactive websites.

The deadline for both funds is March 6th, 2012.
