Our friends at DocHouse have offered chums of the Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation the chance to see Thursday’s screening of Foundation-funded Up In Smoke at the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn.
This eye-opening film follows British scientist Mike Hands, who has laboured for 25 years to find a solution to slash-and-burn agriculture in equatorial rainforests. Shot over 4 years in Honduras and the UK, Up In Smoke parallels the farmers’ struggles with Mike Hands’ attempts to get political backing. More info here: upinsmoke.tv
