Apply here for production or completion financing on your documentary film if you are a British filmmaker or an international filmmaker living in the UK. This fund aims to support a diverse range of independent voices and ideas that UK TV can't. Your film project must have been passed on by a UK Broadcaster when you apply to us (more info here).
PUMA.Creative Film Awards: International Development Fund
A new international rapid response development fund. The Catalyst Awards are here to support the development of your film idea and give you resources to create your trailer. With four open calls each year, there are 40 awards available of up to 5,000 Euros each. Awards are open to emerging and established filmmakers working anywhere in the world (more info here).
Bertha BRITDOC Documentary Journalism Fund
The new Bertha BRITDOC Fund for Journalism is an international film fund dedicated to supporting long form feature documentaries of a journalistic nature. We are looking for films that break the important stories of our time, expose injustice, bring attention to unreported issues and cameras into regions previously unseen (more info here).
Bertha BRITDOC Connect Fund
The Bertha BRITDOC Connect Fund is the first European-based outreach and engagement fund, and is open to filmmakers from around the world. The fund is looking to support smart, strategic outreach campaigns for ambitious independent documentary films with a social issue at their core; films which have the ability to achieve real change on a local, regional or global level (more info here).
