Brands and documentary filmmakers have much in common; they both want to influence the hearts and minds of their target audiences, and with the Olympics 2012 on the horizon we’re match-making sports docs with brand partners.

Calling all Sports Docs

In all our work at the Foundation, we’ve built powerful alliances around film. We’re now in discussion with a number of brands and agencies about getting involved in sports docs.

We’re building a portfolio of documentary films that, however loosely, fit in with the Olympics, the Paralympics and the Cultural Olympiad.

We are engaging support from a range of brands to raise exposure and marketing of projects and to potentially raise financing around films, and we’re on the lookout for new films to be included in our discussions.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for films that corporate partners can collaborate on to make a greater impact.

Films can be of any length.

Films should be in production or post production - we will ask to see footage if we’re interested in adding your film to the slate.

Serious or light-hearted, the films need to represent the spirit of the Olympics at their core.

Films must be due to complete by June 2012 at the latest.
