Real good

Films are the best medium for changing hearts and minds and lives, by bringing stories and issues to the widest possible audiences. Films inspire people to engage and act.

That's why we broker relationships between third sector and filmmakers

Over the past 3 years, we have become experts in creating real impact around our films. We will add to best practice in this area by continuing to work on big, new films with a social purpose and share what we have learnt through conferences, bespoke filmmaker workshops and online.

We would love to hear from anyone who is inspired by the idea of documentary as a force for change – if you're from the third sector and want to discuss how you could work with documentary get in touch with Elise, our Good Pitch Producer:

A one-day live event bringing together 8 filmmakers with an invited audience of foundations, NGOs, campaigners, advertising agencies, brands and media in maximise the impact of social-issue documentary.

Find out more about the Good Pitch in 2009 and our plans for 2010.

With support from the Open Society Institute, we have launched goodfilm.org, a website connecting the best UK social-justice films and filmmakers to the people and organisations who can use them to effect change.
